There are 5 bedrooms in the house, containing 11 beds:
Master BR 1x Queen
Pake & Beppe BR 1x Dual Adjustable King
Room 2 1x Single Bunk
Room 3 1x King Single Bunk & 1x King Single Bed
Room 4 2x King Single Bunks

You are welcome to bring mattresses if you’d like to sleep more than 11 people. If there is a third couple, two KS mattresses can be placed in the black lounge. Sheets are available for this California King.

There is space in the Master BR for a portacot (you’ll need to bring one).

Please bring your own bed linen and pillows, though fitted bottom sheets are provided for all beds if you would like to use them. The Queen has sheets in the wardrobe and the King has a complete set of linen in its wardrobe if you would like to use it.

Please bring your own towels – bath towels and beach towels, if using – as well as flannels and/or loofahs. Hand towels, bath mats and cloths are provided.

All house linen must be washed before you leave. You can leave them to dry in the garage.

A high chair and bath (large bucket) are available. There is a nightlight in the hall bathroom and another available in the large hall cupboard ‘Stationery’ container.

There is a small selection of books, games, (fake) lego and large puzzles available. There is a Wii, table tennis and sports equipment. There are plastic cups, plates and bowls.

There is a small skate park, a school nearby with a scooter track and Green Estate Drive can be fairly quiet at times (apart from the construction trucks). Scooters and other wheels could be fun if you can bring them.

There is a Four Square in Waipu. They have some variety but are, on the whole, more expensive than a regular supermarket. Whangarei has all the major supermarkets and is about 35 minutes north. If you’re coming from the south, the last PAK’nSAVE before Waipu is in Silverdale. Warkworth has a Countdown.

Most regular items are at the house and you are welcome to use them as long as you replace items if you finish them or open the spare. Staple items such as toilet paper, dishwashing liquid, oil and washing powder are “on the house” and we try to keep these well stocked.

To aid your planning and packing, these are some of the items in the house:
Breville coffee machine (beans or ground coffee)
Large air fryer
Bread makers x2
Diswasher
Oven
Large freezer (if you wish to bring pre-cooked meals)
Boogie boards, buckets and spades, beach chairs
BBQ
DVD player
WiFi
Washing machine, indoor and outdoor drying lines

Please leave the house cleaned and tidy, ready for the next family to arrive. All cleaning items are provided. And please tell us if, when you arrived, you were greeted by a dirty house.

Please NO PETS. We will consider a request for a pet to be present on a case by case basis.

All areas in the house and on the property are non-smoking and non-vaping.
